Eight Auspicious Conch Shankha handmade in Nepal

This is a real and natural Eight Auspicious Conch shell. All the designs are hand-carved exclusively in Nepal by Newar Artisans. The eight symbols carved are as follows.

According to Wikipedia.

A Shankha is a conch shell of ritual and religious importance in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is the shell of a large predatory sea snail, Turbinella pyrum, found in the Indian Ocean.[citation needed]

The shankha is one also one of the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism, the Ashtamangala, and represents the pervasive sound of Buddhism.  More details can also be found here.
